Thank YOU!! and, no, I don't even know HOW to use filters or layers, though I hope to learn. I just fiddled and played with the photo on Picnik. I have a bunch more of her photos I want to play with in Picnik BEfore it retires into the mist.
This was one of those photos, too, that I took and couldn't SEE when I was taking it due to sun and water and the reflections that make seeing impossible. It was fun to crop it and discover the reflection. Amazing, I tell you, simply amazing how these things fall into my lap sometimes!! So glad I chose to DO this project one day, one photo at a time.
I love the picture of Gracie and the awesome reflection you got of her, sometimes accidents are the best things! I'm new to CED and am going through and checking out everyone's blogs.waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Looks like Leah was a bit late posting this week. I finally gave up, but came back before I went to bed.
Gracie reflected on the Pacific, and the Pacific reflected back on Gracie. This is gorgeous. Did you use filters?

I so agree! My dog Lucy can teach us all there is to know about happiness! Lovely memories for you of Gracie's first trip to the ocean.
An endearing photograph. Sometimes I think it is all too easy to loose the joy of simple things....This photo makes us think, doesn't it? :)
